Scuba Diving is one of the most popular water sports activities in the world and Andaman Islands aren’t untouched by that. Besides the calm, peaceful beaches and delicious seafood, diving is what attracts a good chunk of visitors to the Isles. The underwater coastal belts surrounding Andamans is home to one of the densest ecosystem of coral reefs and formations. Most of the islands are enclosed by long stretches of reefs, usually several hundred meters wide and separated by the shore with shallow waters and complimented by volcanic lava hills that make the experience unique and hard to find anywhere else.
The untouched, alive corals house some of the world’s most vibrant fishes and sea-dwellers which pop-out from the blue ocean and present a beautiful scene around the diver.
Under the protection of the Andaman Administration, the corals and fish are abundant and often enclose the diver from all directions, which leaves the diver in awe and wonder.
Experience one of the finest Scuba Diving experience in India, during your Andaman Visit.
This diving experience starts from the shore and is done both at North Bay Island and Havelock Island. The charges of this diving experience are comparatively lesser than the other types of diving experience. This diving experience is done mainly at specific locations in Port Blair and Havelock Island and is concentrated towards beginners who are diving for the first time in Andaman.
Now, this diving experience has gone pretty famous in both Havelock and Neil Island. Boat Diving is only done at Havelock and Neil Island by only a handful of Diving institutes that are good and have the experience. This diving experience can again be done by both beginners who have little swimming experience and non-swimmers as well. In this diving experience, you are first given a brief training to get a know-how of the equipment.
Those who have already done basic diving might want to look forward to opportunities where they can explore more diving sites across the globe. In such cases, you need to have a diving certificate from institutions that are recognized by PADI / SSI . Andaman islands are pretty famous for diving courses and even advanced diving courses.
